Logistics Major

1. Introduction

In the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, enhancing global industrial competitiveness requires efficient management and optimization of complex supply chains and logistics systems. The logistics major cultivates professionals who play a central role in the logistics industry by maximizing system efficiency, reducing costs, and emphasizing strategic decision-making and management skills. The program has continuously improved and secured its educational and research infrastructure through various government-supported projects, including the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport's Logistics Specialization Workforce Development Project (2010), the Ministry of Education's University Specialization Project (2014), and the Shipping, Port, and Logistics Specialist Training Project (2020). Leveraging these resources, the program provides hands-on education, data utilization training, and practical application training. One of the major's greatest strengths is its focus on field-oriented education, which includes on-campus competitions, internships, and on-site training.

2. Curriculum Overview

The logistics major offers a wide range of educational opportunities to cultivate real-world problem-solving skills in the logistics field, from comprehensive knowledge of logistics to integrated education in information technology and data analysis. Supported by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport and the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, the program provides various internship and field training opportunities. Given the broad and diverse career paths within the logistics sector, the curriculum is designed to strengthen specialized education by integrating software, artificial intelligence, and domain-specific expertise in logistics.
