Greetings, I am Soo-Kyoung Lee, the head of Service Management Major.

The aviation industry has come a long way, evolving from Leonardo da Vinci's initial concept of 'Ornithopter' to the contemporary technology of UAM (Urban Air Mobility). Along the way, it has witnessed consistent innovation and growth. Among the diverse facets of aviation, the air transport sector specializes in operating aircraft built on advanced technologies and offering related services. This sector must be sensitive to adapting to international political and economic circumstances. Emphasis is given to operating safer and more environmentally friendly aircraft, and significant attention is dedicated to the research and development of surrounding systems. Given these attributes, the incorporation of new technology is crucial, and constant research and effort from the professionals within the industry are indispensable.
 

The Service Management major was established with an aim to nurture proactive and creative experts who will lead related industries according to these characteristics of the air transportation industry. Our goal is to mold global students with dreams and passions into service management leaders who will play an active role on the world global stage.
 

Our vision focuses on fostering global aviation experts pursuing the world standard in service management. We are committed to providing specialized service management education for global leaders, strengthening practical capabilities through close ties with the industry, and cultivating aviation industry leaders who embrace diversity and inclusivity. Our curriculum fosters proactive and innovative global service management professionals, emphasizing a blend of theory and practice. Beyond just conveying knowledge, our endeavor is to imbue each of you with the qualities and skills to emerge as future leaders.
 

We will strive to provide an environment where students from various countries can excel in their individual capabilities and passions, while also collaborating and communicating with one another. We are excited to see you grow prepared professionals ready to face diverse challenges of the future alongside the Service Management major at Korea Aerospace University.
